Walking in Grace

God makes His grace available as we walk in a particular situation, and it’s always there for the taking. (John 14:1) Our personal responsibility is to accept God’s grace in that specific situation, wholeheartedly. (Luke 22:42) Usually, our own way involves changing or leaving a situation, but God never promises this as His way. (Hebrews 12:1-2) God is faithful to be with us, in and through every trial we face. (Hebrews 13:5) If we want His grace to propel us forward, we must lay down our own ‘game plan’. (Proverbs 19:21) When we do this the power of God’s grace at work in us and for us will become evident! (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) Only when we turn away from ourselves in this manner are we able to fully embrace the grace given to us, and a change will start to emerge. (1 Peter 4:12-13) Perhaps the situation itself won’t change, but we’ll find a new ability to walk in the power of the Spirit. (Philippians 4:13) Make no mistake! It may be a simple, quiet, and undramatic change as burdens are lifted and the situation becomes a place of blessing. (Matthew 11 v 28-30) Light and Easy. Humility. Submission. Power from on high. (Proverbs 4:20-22) It’s a magnificent spiritual transformation! (Romans 12:1-2) Even better is that we grow into a greater trust in God as we allow ourselves to become enveloped in His grace, daily, hourly. (Isaiah 26;3-4) We receive boldness to stay away from our own feeble, natural attempts through Holy Spirit power and supernatural grace. (2 Timothy 1:7; Philippians 1:14) And then we’ll be amazed at what God can do. (Matthew 6:33; Psalm 27:1)

What’s your current ‘situation’? Find that special grace from God for you, and you’ll find God’s highest and best. (1 Peter 5:6-11; Proverbs 3:5-7)
